Beauty From Beast {Before and After}

I can't sing the praises of Milk Paint, glorious Milk Paint enough.  Everyone needs to run out and grab themselves a color of Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint.

It can be a little intimidating to be presented with this beautiful bag of powder and go, "What? How am I going to paint with this?"

My advice. . .
1. Get a jar with a tight fitting lid.
2. Start with equal parts powder to water and add more water if you feel your paint is too thick.
3.  Use warm water.  The powder dissolves much better in warm water.

I love the natural chippiness that milk paint takes on a piece.  It's unpredictable.

This bureau was in terrible condition prior to getting the "Milk Paint Treatment".  The spa treatment for furniture.

Kitchen Scale on the drawers and Grain Sack everywhere else.

The knobs were not my favorite.  I just couldn't envision them working with the direction I had this bureau going.  I did purchase new knobs.

I love transforming these pieces that people feel are trash and making them into to true treasures.

Great, now another piece that is for sale that I would love to keep.
